L-Acoustics Kudo Line Array

With a design combining Wavefront Sculpture Technology with the exclusive L-Acoustics K-LOUVER technology, the full range KUDO line source can have its directivity adjusted in both the horizontal and vertical planes simultaneously. KUDO is suited to permanent installation and touring applications.

The main system components consist of the following:
-KUDO full range element operating in the 35 Hz to 20 kHz bandwidth
-SB218 complementary low frequency extension operating from 28 Hz
-Touring rack fitted with LA48 amplifiers

The system features a 3-way, quad amplified design and the installed transducers and components are derived from the latest generation technologies. The tuning of the enclosure delivers extended LF response and gives KUDO an exceptional ability to perform in many applications without the need for additional subwoofers with a record-breaking performance/size ratio. Kudo features both a dual DOSC HF waveguide and the integral K-Louver Modular Directivity Technology system (patent pending) which provides directivity control in the plane perpendicular to the DOSC waveguides. Four different coverage pattern settings are made possible: 50 or 110 symmetric and 25 x 55 or 55 x 25 asymmetric in both vertical and horizontal configurations.
