The City of Coquitlam contracted Wild Coast Productions & Event Rentals - Production Division to provide the infrastructure for their Canada Day Celebration during the festival’s planning stage. This enabled us to use our extensive knowledge of outdoor festivals to help the City understand their technical requirements, which helped ensure all operational aspects of the festival went smoothly. The services provided included: Backline, Sound, Lighting, Staging, Tenting and Electrical. Wild Coast supplied nine truck loads of equipment and was responsible for the Setup, Operation and Take Down of three concert stages and full service electrical. We were pleased to be involved in the beautiful fireworks display which ended the night, communicating with the firework technician to ensure a perfectly timed audio accompaniment which could be heard throughout the park. Organization, experience, communication with the client and other vendors, and attention to detail contributed to making this event a success.
